South Buda Business Park found its new tenant at a record time

Friday, 11 October 2019 12:56

The new tenant of South Buda Business Park has been found at an instant. The long-term tenant of the XI. district office building moved out at the end of 2018, leaving behind large vacant office areas. Robertson Hungary, the appointed representative of South Buda Business Park found the new tenant in less than half a year for the prominently located office building. The new occupier is thyssenkrupp Components, that will accommodate 16,000 sq m office area in the building and will locate its entire operation of Budapest here.

South Buda Business Park’s previous tenant, the Hungarian Telecom has moved to its new headquarters in Pest at the end of 2018, resulting in sharp increase in the vacancy rate in several office buildings in the South-Buda office market. Robertson Hungary as the representative of the landlord had immediately started to work on the leasing strategy and on the acquisition of potential new tenants. South Buda Business Park meets the technical standards of modern office buildings. Besides the great location, the immediately available large contiguous office area meant an incomparable competitive advantage for companies who looked for large office areas as HQ options.

„It was exceptionally important for us to urgently utilize the vacant areas, and thus we were glad that the process carried out professionally and efficiently within such a sort time and we were able to welcome thyssenkrupp Components among our tenants” - said the landlord of South Buda Business Park.

Roberston Hungary supported the landlord in all steps of remarketing of the building. Many potential candidates were found during our active campaigns. The process was concluded promptly, therefore the landlord could have signed a long-term contract with a new tenant in July 2019. „An incredibly fast-paced but successful assignment is behind us, and as a result, we found the most suitable occupier for our client. We closed the negotiations with a mutually advantageous agreement between the clients. South Buda Business Park welcomed a reliable international company, while thyssenkrupp Components moved their operations to a modern head office. Compared to the extent of the transaction, the contract’s negotiations were proceeded at fast-paced which is exemplary in the real estate market.” – summarized Róbert Tilki, Managing Director of Robertson Hungary.
